Hoops for Him: News

There are several changes that will impact the upcoming season. Please make note of the following:

All games will now begin and end with a prayer at center court led by a player or coach, but preferably a player. The home team will lead prayer before the game and the visiting team will lead prayer at the end of the game. The home team is the first team listed on the schedule—for example, '2 vs. 7' means team 2 is the home team and team 7 is the visiting team.
Game cancellations/delays due to inclement weather will now be communicated three ways: (1) a Hoops4Him 'tweet' will be sent out to everyone who has signed up to follow Hoops4Him on Twitter, (2) a Hoops4Him News item will be posted immediately on the Hoops4Him website and (3) WXII News Channel 12 will be contacted and the information should be posted on their list of closings/delays. If you do not receive a 'tweet', see an announcement on the Hoops4Him website or on WXII News Channel 12 by 7:15am, you should assume that games will be played.
Every coach is required to sign and abide by the Coaches Code of Conduct.
If a player or coach accumulates three (3) technical fouls at any point in the season, he/she will be required to meet with the Hoops4Him Leadership Team who will decide whether or not that individual is allowed to continue playing or coaching for the remainder of the season.
