Welcome to Hoops4Him

Hoops4Him is a citywide youth basketball league that crosses geographic, cultural, racial, social, and economic barriers to connect the students of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County, North Carolina in a Christ-centered community.

Why do we Play?

We play to connect students in our county across geographic, cultural, racial, social, and economic barriers through a fun and competitive basketball league, and in so doing be a community-building agent in our county that demonstrates the love of God in both word and deed through the development of meaningful relationships among administrators, coaches, players, parents, and officials.

Where do we play?

Hoops4Him play all of its games in the Winston Salem, NC area. For more detailed addresses and locations, click here.

Our Divisions

Hoops4Him operates four different divisions. Each is catered to a specific age. We offer a Junior Boys Division, an Intermediate Boys Division, a Girls Division, and a High School Boys Division.

To play in the Junior Boys Division the player must be in the 6th or a lower school grade. Open to both boys and girls.

To play in the Intermediate Boys Division the player must be in the 9th or a lower school grade. Also, a player cannot be on a high school basketball team roster (this includes 9th Grade, JV, or Varsity basketball team), if the player is on a 9th Grade or JV basketball team then the player must play up into the High School Boys Division. Open to boys.

To play in the High School Boys Division (open to boys) and the Girls Division (open to girls) the player must be in the 12th or a lower school grade. Also, the player cannot be on a high school varsity basketball team roster.

A player who is currently trying out for a high school varsity basketball team is not eligible to participate in league games. Should that player fail to make the high school varsity basketball team, he/she would then be eligible to play. If a player makes the high school varsity basketball team and subsequently quits, he/she would be eligible to participate in league games as long as he/she is added to the roster prior to the deadline for roster additions.

All Divisional Rules can be found on the Documents page.

Want to get involved?

We are in need of Division Supervisors for the High School Boys Division and people to serve on the Hoops4Him Leadership Team. If you are interested in being on the Hoops4Him Leadership Team or serve as one of the Division Supervisors for the High School Boys Division, please let anyone on the Leadership Team know.

We have many opportunities for you to get involved at Hoops4Him. Most of our need is in scorekeeping and scoreboard operators at our game locations. If your church hosts Hoops4Him games, please get in contact with the person at your church who works with Hoops4Him in coordinating and supervising those games, most of the time that will be the Division Supervisor. If you go to a church that does not host Hoops4Him games but still want to volunteer. Please contact for scorekeeping/scoreboard operator opportunities, or for general opportunities.
